Century Club Charities hosts Birdies for Charity Luncheon

Century Club Charities, host organization for the Sanderson Farms Championship, held the Birdies for Charity luncheon today at the Country Club of Jackson. In addition to lunch, there was an awards program recognizing top charities for the 2014 season. In 2014, 1645 birdies were made and Birdies for Charity raised $251,408.67 for Mississippi charities. “We are excited to announce the donations raised through the Birdies for Charity program. These contributions make a significant impact to charitable organizations across the entire state of Mississippi,” said Tournament Executive Director Steve Jent. Read more

2014 Sanderson Farms Championship Raises $1.1 Million for Friends of Children’s Hospital

Today, Century Club Charities, host organization for the Sanderson Farms Championship, presented Friends of Children’s Hospital with a check for $1,102,700, more than doubling last year’s contributions of $500,000.

John Lang, President of Century Club Charities said, “Century Club Charities’ mission is to promote golf for the benefit of charities, and our success in that effort is measured largely by the funds we raise for Friends of Children’s Hospital.” Read more
